Driving with a Trailer DVLA Part E Driving Test

This course is for those who have passed their driving test since January, 1997 and who need to be trained to drive a vehicle (car/van) towing a trailer. This course is designed for those who need to pass the statutory additional driving test, Part E


Course pre requisite: Full driving licence.

Course Length: Depends on delegates experience.

Instructor: Contact the office for information.

Venue: DVLA Centre.

Maximum Trainees: 1

This is a practical course and involves on road driving using the instructors equipment, it is a one to one course:

  • Safety checks on both vehicle and trailer
  • Reversing exercises
  • Braking exercises
  • Uncoupling and recoupling
